Extravagant Surrender

My heart poured out for my Lord & King; JESUS, the One who’s my EVERYTHING Pouring out ALL of me: my love, my hopes, my dreams, my broken pieces, & all of my insecurities In the waiting; on my knees A deeper trust in You complete Finally ready; excited to see Your DREAMS come true for me Showing me Your truth; You have opened my eyes You are renewing my mind; no more believing the enemy’s lies I am in tune to Your voice; stepping out in faith is always our choice Spending time with You; is the most important part Your presence fills me up with love & peace that settles my heart My steps are ordered, my heart is right My spiritual armor is on; I am ready to fight You are always with me: I will not fear; I will not doubt My faith to believe in You is what life’s all about I will fix my eyes on YOU; focus on eternity to pull me through You won’t let me stumble; You won’t let me fail May only Your plans for me prevail Holding me up with Your strong right hand Together we journey; UNITED we stand I am child of God; to Him I belong May my life be Your beautiful song Whether I step out in faith or just be still; Always wanting to only follow Your will Close any doors that are not from You; only open the doors You want me to walk through As I surrender my life to You; can’t wait to see what God will do! ~Written by Anne Cannon
