AboutAnne
Sister, Mother, Writer, Designer
Anne Burnham Cannon is a woman who believes that life is an intricate tapestry of purpose, passion, and perseverance. Born and raised in New Orleans as the youngest of eight children, she carries a legacy of faith shaped by her mother's unwavering dedication to God. She is a Christian, an entrepreneur, a poet, and a woman who finds joy in the everyday miracles of life.
For the past 30 years, Anne has decorated and constructed homes, believing that home is where we are grounded, where we experience joy, and where we reflect God's beauty. Alongside her design work, she has also built a life in real estate as both an investor and a professional, stewarding spaces that uplift families.
Throughout her life there has been darkness, but even then God guided her to find beauty in the broken. In those solemn seasons, He transformed her prayer pages into inspirational poetry. Anne has been writing since 2000. After encouragement from her children, family, friends, and husband, she shared that gift with the world through her book Reflections, published in 2014.
"God is always there for you, so take time to talk and pray with Him," she says. "My book is an example of how important it is to have a relationship with God. God can be your everything, and can help you throughout your life."

Where Poems Begin
Anne's poetry grows from quiet conversations with God, written at her desk and carried into everyday life. What started as private prayer pages became words of encouragement for anyone longing to renew, restore, and redeem.
