Holding On to Borrowed Time

A heartfelt thanks to my mother who passed her legacy of faith in God. Thank you for being a great example of a hard working, strong Italian woman who loved God and was dedicated to loving her family. I wanted to share this special poem that came to me after a special visit with my mom at the hospital (July 2003). God how faithful you are! Thank you for this precious time from prayers requested from my mother & me. Every minute comes from your grace. Thank you God for letting me have these special moments with my beloved mother. The night before her surgery I got to lay in her hospital bed as she played with my hair twirling it around as we watched television. Thanks for letting me have this extra time to see her smile when we visit her, receive her words of encouragement, and to show her how much we love & care for her. Thank you for healing my mom when it looked so hopeless. Thank you for always answering our prayers and giving us both extra time. I will hold this in my heart forever!
